Amplified Leicester

We’re pretty interested in how the web can connect communities in the real world – and then we found out the good folk at the Institute of Creative Technologies, De Montfort University in partnership with the DMU Centre for Social Action and Phoenix Square Digital Media Centre and NESTA have created Amplified Leicester, which is a project that teams 30 individuals from different cultures to come together.

They’ve made a short film to explain it all. Seems like it’s worth following #ampleic. I love the idea of the web being a ‘how’ not an ‘it’.
